Moog's Military Aircraft Group (MAG) is a world-wide leader of advanced flight controls and actuation for military aircraft. We are positioned on virtually every aircraft flying today, supplying highly reliable systems that are supportable and add significant value for our customers.

We're building a Business Transformation Team to simplify operations, optimize program lifecycles, and align planning across MAG. As part of this effort, we are hiring aManager - Integrated Business Planning (IBP). This role will be instrumental in connecting strategy to execution and driving integrated planning across the organization. This role is located in East Aurora, New York and reports to the Business Transformation Director, Military Aircraft Group.

As a Manager - Integrated Business Planning your key responsibilities will be:

  • Lead the end-to-end Integrated Business Planning (IBP) processacross MAG, ensuring alignment between strategic objectives, operational plans, and financial targets.

  • Develop and maintain a unified planning frameworkthat integrates demand forecasting, supply planning, inventory management, and financial planning.

  • Facilitate monthly and quarterly IBP cycles, including executive reviews, scenario planning, and decision-making forums.

  • Coordinate planning efforts across MAG's global manufacturing sites, ensuring consistent processes, data integrity, and alignment of capacity and material flow.

  • Establish and maintain a single source of truthfor demand and capacity data, enabling real-time visibility and informed decision-making.

  • Identify and resolve planning gaps and constraints, proactively managing risks and trade-offs to support delivery commitments.

  • Champion the use of digital tools and analytics to enhance forecasting accuracy, scenario modeling, and performance tracking.

  • Continuously improve planning processes and systems, leveraging best practices and emerging technologies to increase agility and responsiveness.

  • Support the Moog SAP enterprise transformation efforts, ensuring the SAP IBP solution in development aligns with MAG requirements

  • Recruit, coach, and develop a high-performing team

To be considered for this role, here's what you'll need to bring with you:

  • Strong executive communication skills with the ability to influence and align stakeholders.

  • Deep understanding of Moog's planning processes or similar complex manufacturing environments.

  • Background in operations and/or finance is highly desirable.

  • Technologically oriented with experience in enabling planning scenarios through digital tools.

  • Analytical mindset with a willingness to challenge the status quo and drive continuous improvement.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field; advanced degree preferred

  • Strong communicator with a strategic mindset and ability to simplify complex topics

  • Comfortable with ambiguity and driving new processes

  • Willingness to relocate to East Aurora and work on-site

It would be great if you also had:

  • Experience with Integrated Business Planning frameworks and tools (e.g., SAP IBP) is a plus.

  • Aerospace and defense industry experience

Salary Range Transparency:

Buffalo, NY $140,000.00-$180,000.00 Annually

Salary Range Disclaimer

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moog salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, employee stock purchase plan, an open paid time off policy, and many region-specific benefits.
