The Nurse Manager, RN is responsible for assisting the Clinical Director in the management and operations of the nursing department in Assisted Living and Memory Care. This position is responsible for supervising, coordinating and coaching staff that deliver nursing care to the residents in accordance with current regulations ensuring that resident needs are met, and care delivery expectations are achieved.

Schedule: Full-Time. 32 hours per week. Typical business hours. Work 4 workdays between Monday - Friday. Leader on Duty rotation and On-Call rotation.

Pay: The targeted pay range for this job is $60,000 - $73,000 per year. Ecumen considers a variety of factors when determining new hire pay including experience, qualifications, and, when applicable, certifications, licenses, and education.

* this position is salaried/exempt working 32 hours per week. The posted range reflects an annual salary at 32 hours per week.

Essential Job Responsibilities:




  1. Ensures nursing care follows all state, federal, and organizational guidelines



  2. Oversees and coordinates resident care from admission to discharge



  3. Completes assessments, administers medications, and monitors resident health



  4. Leads, trains, and supports nursing team members



  5. Manages team performance and addresses concerns



  6. Maintains a safe environment and enforces infection control practices



  7. Documents and communicates resident care accurately



  8. Assists with new team member orientation



  9. Performs other related duties as needed





Minimum Required Qualifications:



  • Associate's Degree in Nursing
  • Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse within the state in which working and must maintain licensure
  • Two years of nursing experience
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written formats
  • Ability to follow all safety rules, regulations, policies and procedures of the facility including but not limited to: Vulnerable Adult and Abuse Policy, HIPAA, Resident's Bill of Rights, Universal Precaution, AWAIR, OSHA, Right to know, SDS, ADA, HUD Policy and Procedures, Fair Housing laws and regulations



Preferred Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree
  • Previous experience working with seniors
