We are a collaborative and interdisciplinary team investigating the neural circuits underlying cognitive control functions and their disruption in psychiatric disorders. Our work specifically focuses on the functional maturation of cognitive control circuits across adolescence and their fidelity in rodent and tree shrew models of neurodevelopmental disorders, including the 22q11.2 deletion syndrome. Learn More about our research: https://www.research.chop.edu/mukherjee-laboratory Position Overview The successful candidate will lead innovative projects exploring how experiences and neural plasticity shape cognition, with the ultimate goal of informing new therapies for psychiatric disorders.
