Carnegie Mellon University invites applications for a Crisis, Consultation, and Referral Support (CCaRS) Program Director at Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS), within the Community Health and Well-Being unit of the Division of Student Affairs. The CCaRS Program Director is a full-time position reporting directly to the Associate Director of Clinical Services. This role will oversee triage, case management, referral support, mobile crisis, and consultation services at CAPS.The Program Director will lead a team of mental health professionals in a department with increased focus on building a fair and respectful community that fosters connection and support in a multicultural environment. This role provides administrative and clinical oversight of CCaRS staff, and ensures the optimal functioning of CCaRS services. Additionally, the person in this position provides direct counseling/psychotherapy, consultation, crisis intervention, and outreach/prevention services to CMU students, as needed. The Program Director is a member of the CaPS leadership team and works in conjunction with other leadership colleagues in developing and implementing center-wide policy consistent with institutional needs and ethical professional practice.
