The salary range for this position is $200,000 - $999,000. This position includes membership in the health sciences compensation plan (https://www.ucop.edu/academic-personnel-programs/_files/apm/apm-670.pdf), which provides for eligibility for additional compensation. Application Window Open date: October 1, 2025 Next review date: Saturday, Nov 1, 2025 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Final date: Saturday, Feb 28, 2026 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Position description The Department of Head and Neck Surgery at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA is seeking a fellowship-trained Head and Neck Surgical Oncologist to join our growing faculty. This position will be in the Health Sciences Clinical Professor series at the Assistant, Associate or Full Professor rank. Qualified candidates must hold an M.D. degree or equivalent and must have completed an AHNS-accredited Head & Neck Surgery Oncology fellowship program. They must also be board certified or eligible in Otolaryngology - Head & Neck Surgery and eligible for a California medical license. Candidates must have demonstrated excellence in patient care, teaching and scholarly activity in clinical, translational, or basic science research related to head and neck oncology. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive surgical care for patients with benign and malignant tumors of the head and neck, including thyroid, parathyroid, laryngeal, pharyngeal, oral cavity, salivary, skin, and skull based malignancies; participate in multidisciplinary cancer care within Jonsson Comprehensive Cancer Center; and contribute to our academic mission through teaching and research. The candidate will be expected to provide inpatient and outpatient care at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center and affiliated hospitals and provide on-call service. The individual should be enthusiastic about engaging in academically productive scientific inquiry, educating medical students, residents, and fellows, serving the university community, and augmenting one of the nation's leading departments.
