About the Role Reporting to the Manager of Accounting for the Summerlin HOA, the financial administrator will provide financial administrative support to the day-to-day community management operations of Summerlin North, South and West Community Associations; Summerlin Centre Owners' Association and multiple sub associations. What You Will Do
Initiate and/or respond to member correspondence which may include, but is not limited to inquiries regarding account balances, collection status, unsigned or returned checks and association documents. Perform member account research, audit and reconciliation as needed. Process new and resale deed set-up, including ownership information update in the accounting system. Assist with routine title company closing communication and prepare demand letters. Responsible for ACH input, letters, and maintaining permanent files. Enter or update new parcel information into the accounting system including lot and block numbers and street addresses for owner assessment and linked violation accounts. Prepare and/or take deposits to local banks, as needed. Organize and coordinate the accounts receivable files and procedures based upon the collection policy of each individual association. Coordinate bankruptcy issues and filing of Proof of Claim with professional foreclosure service. Process accounts payable checks for mailing to vendors. Assist in the maintenance of the HOA filing system covering financial reports, A/P and member files. Share in relief support for office receptionist. Perform other duties and work on special projects as assigned or as judgement and necessity dictate.
About You
Proficient in Jenark PM application. Strong people skills required. Must have good problem-solving and analytical skills with ability to function independently, exercise good judgement and maintain attention to detail. Sound typing and 10-key by touch skills required. Must have working knowledge and experience using personal and laptop computers with Windows 2011, Microsoft Word and Excel, required. Access or similar database knowledge a plus. Strong accounting and bookkeeping skills preferred.
