Application Development Intern Summer 2026 Paid Internship Mid-May - Mid-August This internship is not eligible for relocation assistance. Local candidates preferred. We are excited to offer a Summer 2026 internship opportunity for a motivated and curious student to join our Retail Digital Banking Platforms team as an Application Development Intern. What You'll Do: As an intern, you'll gain hands-on experience working alongside experienced software developers and technology leaders. You'll contribute to real projects that support our customer-facing digital banking applications and learn how enterprise software is designed, developed, and maintained. Your responsibilities may include: Assisting with software development tasks such as coding, testing, and debugging Participating in team meetings and contributing ideas to improve user experience and system performance Supporting documentation efforts for technical processes and application features Learning and applying best practices in software development and agile methodologies Collaborating with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and QA engineers Shadowing team members to understand how technical decisions are made and implemented What We're Looking For: Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript Basic understanding of software development principles and database concepts Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Excellent communication and collaboration abilities Eagerness to learn and contribute in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Bonus Skills (Not Required): Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) Experience with version control tools like Git Interest in digital banking or financial technology What You'll Gain: Real-world experience in enterprise software development Mentorship from experienced professionals Networking opportunities across departments Insight into career paths in technology within the financial services industry
