Performs a full range of nuclear medicine diagnostic and therapeutic imaging procedures to provide optimum information for the diagnosis and/or treatment of patients.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE: 1. Graduate of a Medical Imaging Program. 2. Must possess current or temporary Nuclear Medicine license as required by state board where services will be provided: MD:Nuclear Medicine Technologist through Maryland Board of Physicians OH:Nuclear Medicine Technologist through Ohio Department of Health PA:No state license required VA:Radiological Technologist license through the Virginia Board of Medicine WV:Nuclear Medicine License OR Nuclear Medicine Apprentice License through West Virginia Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Technology Board 4. Certification in Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire. 5. State criminal background check and Federal (if applicable), as required for regulated areas.
