Title: Part Time Faculty - Continuing Education Department: Lifelong Learning Campus Location: Arnold/Main Campus Salary Range: Contracts are determined by experience Work Mode: This position requires some regular in-person presence on campus or at alternative locations, depending on business needs of the office. Hours Per Week:Flexible Work Schedule:Varies - Days, Weekends, Evenings Position Type:, Exempt Position Summary We are currently building a pool of qualified part-time faculty to support our academic programs. Candidates will be contacted as needed, each semester, based on student enrollment numbers and program requirements. Programming areas include but are not limited to: World Languages The Lifelong Learning department accepts proposals for new course content on a rolling basis; please reference this in your cover letter if you plan to propose a new course.Candidates invited for an interview will be asked to provide a brief teaching demonstration. Job Duties and Responsibilities * Deliver engaging and high-quality lesson plans and hands-on instruction to adult learners, whether on campus, off campus, or remote, in accordance with the college's philosophy, policies, and guidelines. Required Qualifications: Education and professional experience/certifications dependent upon position. Preferred Qualifications: Previous teaching experience.
