POSITION OVERVIEW AND PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):

Alutiiq Solutions, LLC a subsidiary of Alutiiq, LLC has an opening for a Shuttle Driver/Courierto support theNaval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) Washington Liaison Office (WLO) located in Arlington, VA. Provide direct transportation and administrative support to the on-site contract Project Manager and Director/TPOC (Technical Point of Contact) by providing shuttle transportation to senior level Naval Air System Command personnel as well as other senior level DoD personnel. Provide direct support to senior DoN leadership utilizing transient resources. Secret Security clearance required.



  • Provide direct courier and driving support to the on-site contract Project Manager and Director/TPOC (Technical Point of Contact) by transporting senior DoD senior leadership within the National Capital Region (NCR).
  • Provide direct support to senior DoN leadership utilizing transient resources. Interface with program contractors, vendors, and government representatives regarding operational readiness of the NAVAIR WLO shuttle.
  • Support WLO Director by providing vehicle and customer scheduling status. Secret Security clearance required.
  • Provide courier and driving support for transient liaison effort annually supporting 12,000 visitors, 1,100 conferences and the safe transportation of 5,000 passengers within the National Capital Region.
  • Provide required monthly progress and status reports for contract CDRL reporting. Provide metrics on customers, miles driven, number of trips and shuttle maintenance.
  • Provide input to Facility Operational Status charts. Respond to transportation-related data calls and Requests for Information (RFI).
  • Provide driver services for senior program personnel conducting official business in the National Capital Region (NCR) using Government owned vehicle.
  • Works closely with Central Reservation Desk personnel on schedule and transportation requirements and schedule.
  • Maintains vehicle utilization and transportation logs. Understands and uses independent judgment to anticipate changes in routine traffic patterns.
  • Maintains vehicle in a clean and safe operating condition.
  • Tracks and schedules vehicle maintenance.
  • Maintains a library of maps and directions to key locations used by senior leadership.
  • Performs office operations administrative duties.
  • Assists with visitor check-in and directs customers to meeting rooms/workspaces.
  • Provides backup to Central Reservation Desk Operations.
  • Provides assistance for office maintenance and appearance.
  • Supports conference room set-up. Prints and organizes briefing materials for senior-level meetings.
  • Manages and stocks office supplies. Maintain inventory control of all vehicle-related items.
  • Attend meetings, VTCs, and TeleCons as Subject Matter Expert (SME) on vehicle operations, maintenance and transportation scheduling.
  • Other administrative duties as required.
  • Support occasional transportation needs after normal operating hours.
  • Work with Patuxent River Naval Air Station headquarters and facility management on vehicle operational status.
  • Ensure compliance with company, customer and government security regulations and procedures. Work independently on projects requiring research and preparation of presentation materials.
  • Will drive automobile or light truck to deliver messages, documents, packages and mail to various business concerns or governmental agencies.
  • May occasionally transport office personnel and visitors.
  • Perform miscellaneous errands, such as carrying mail to and from the post office and sorting or opening incoming and outgoing mail.
  • May obtain receipts for articles delivered and keep a log of items received and delivered, and deliver items to offices and departments within an establishment.


Payrate:$31.50 to $32.50 Hourly

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Active Secret Security Clearance Required:
    Secret at time of hire.
  • Education: High school degree or GED required.
  • Possesses a valid state driver's license.
  • Possesses a clean driving record (required to provide a current "official" copy from the state DMV/MVA).
  • Consents to periodic and random drug and alcohol testing.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Business Suite Package required.
  • Previous military experience is strongly desired.
  • Must be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining cognizance of senior leadership priorities.
  • Able to function in a multi-service environment, often interacting with senior leadership, maintain confidentiality.
