As the National Account Manager - Grocery East at tru fru, you will drive growth and build strong customer partnerships by developing and executing multi-year strategic plans with key accounts like Ahold Delhaize, Wakefern, and Wegmans, while also unlocking growth across your markets.

Leveraging market insights and working cross-functionally, you will create mutual value for both customers and tru fru. The role includes leading customer partnerships, shaping and executing strategy, accurately forecasting demand and trade spend, guiding broker partners, driving shopper engagement, and accelerating DCOM performance.

What you'll do



  • Own key account relationship, serving as the primary point of contact for buyers, broker, and cross-functional partners.
  • Develop comprehensive customer plans that align with and effectively deliver against the company's business objectives. This includes identifying key opportunities, potential challenges, and devising strategic approaches to overcome them.
  • Ability to translate market trends and insights into actionable plans that drive meaningful outcomes for the company and for customers.
  • Create compelling and concise sales stories that are customized to meet the needs of key stakeholders. These stories should effectively communicate relevant insights and the total value proposition of tru fru's products and services.
  • Utilize strong negotiation skills when dealing with various stakeholders to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure plans are financially viable and operationally sound. Work with Marketing teams to amplify brands and accelerate DCOM penetration.
  • Effectively forecast demand and trade expenditure and new item launches.
  • Regularly assess progress against KPI's; ensure broker is motivated and focused on delivering exceptional results.

You have...



  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in a Sales function.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, collaboration, analytical, and influencing skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite.
  • Demonstrated category and shopper acumen.
  • Financial acumen and experience in managing a customer P&L.
  • Proven ability to drive revenue growth and expand market share.


Pluses



  • Master's degree in Business Administration
  • Experience with Trade Promotions Systems (TPM/SRM)

Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs.
