Responsibilities:

The IT Technician supports production and warehouse operations at the Plover facility by providing technical expertise, maintenance, and troubleshooting of computer systems, networks, hardware, and software applications. This position ensures reliable and secure IT systems that enable efficient plant operations, employee productivity, and compliance with company standards.

• Provide technical support to production floor and warehouse operations, ensuring uptime and efficiency of IT systems.
• Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, printers, handheld devices, and related equipment.
• Support plant-specific software, ERP systems, and equipment integrations critical to production processes.
• Maintain and troubleshoot network connections, switches, servers, and wireless access points within the facility.
• Assist with user account management, system access, and security compliance across all plant operations.
• Perform preventative maintenance, upgrades, and patches to IT systems to minimize downtime and risks.
• Assist in training employees on technology usage, basic troubleshooting, and IT best practices.
• Assist with keeping IT work areas clean and organized. Provide backup support to other IT team members as needed. Participate in company initiatives and cross-functional improvement projects.

Qualifications:

Required Education and/or Certifications

• Associate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field required. Bachelor's degree preferred.

Years of Experience

• 2+ years of IT support experience, preferably in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
• Experience supporting ERP systems, industrial hardware, and networking equipment is strongly preferred.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with network administration, including switches, firewalls, and wireless systems.
• Familiarity with ERP systems, production equipment interfaces, and plant automation technology.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues quickly.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to support employees across various departments.
• Organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and ability to enforce IT security compliance.
