What you will do:

  • Accountable for the successful execution of assigned project development stages with significant corporate financial impact.

  • Define project scope, schedule, and cost while identifying and mitigating risks.

  • Coordinate multiple projects, balancing priorities and commercial objectives.

  • Drive teams across the enterprise to deliver cost-competitive results

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Business Development and stakeholders.

  • Drive continuous improvement across projects and teams.

Who you are:

  • Engineering degree in an applicable field is preferred.

  • Seven or more years of progressively responsible experience in engineering design and project management directly related to the transportation of gas and liquid hydrocarbons by pipeline.

  • If you reside in Canada, a Professional Engineering designation (P Eng) is required.

  • Effective communications skills related to leading and acting independently providing direction in a project team environment. This includes presentations to senior leadership.

  • Strong emotional awareness and ability to influence others in technical and project decisions.

  • Significant experience with cost estimating, contingency, risk evaluations, scheduling and scoping of larger projects.

Working Conditions:

  • 30% travel to regional offices or field sites.

Physical Requirements include but are not limited to:

Grasping, kneeling, light - moderate lifting (objects up to 45 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement.

Mental Requirements include but are not limited to:

Ability to: understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information, understand complex problems and collaborate/explore alternative solutions, organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology, organize and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis, make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside this area, understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines, complete routine forms, compose letters, outlines, memoranda and basic reports and communicate with individuals via telephone.

US Only Summary:

Salary - $112,500/year USD - $160,000/year USD
