Position Summary:
As a Student Activities Board (SAB) Member, you will serve as a campus leader dedicated to enhancing student life by planning and executing engaging and inclusive events. In this role, you will foster a sense of community, promote student involvement, and contribute to the overall campus experience through creative programming and collaborative efforts. Must be a current Lipscomb University student. May be federal work study eligible.

Key Responsibilities:
Plan, lead, or co-lead 4-5 events per semester that reflect the interests and needs of the student body.

Participate in a minimum of 12 events per semester, supporting fellow members and ensuring successful event execution.

Attend and actively engage in weekly SAB meetings to collaborate, strategize, and reflect on programming efforts.

Contribute one hour per week to office responsibilities, including administrative support and event preparation.

Play an active role in Signature Events such as Dodgeball, Boot Scoot, the Farmers Market, and more large-scale campus traditions.

Collaborate with student organizations, faculty, and staff to co-sponsor and enhance campus programming.

Report to and receive guidance from the Assistant Director of Student Engagement, including regular feedback and mentorship.

Qualifications:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Reliable, organized, and capable of managing multiple responsibilities.

Willingness to be flexible and adapt to changing needs and priorities.

Commitment to consistent attendance and active participation.

Ability to work up to 10 hours/week.
