Position Overview

Our growing company is looking for an entry-level Manufacturing Helper to join our team!

As a Manufacturing Helper you will assist Machine Operators on production equipment with an emphasis on safety and quality. As a member of the team, you will receive the training and experience needed to advance to the role of Machine Operator.



Schedule:1st shift, 8:00am to 4:00pm


Pay rate: $21.28/hr

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

* Assist in the safe operation of production equipment to produce quality products by adjusting machine controls for speed, temperature, pressure, etc.
* Understands and adheres to all safety rules and procedures.
* Produce orders on time to satisfy customer needs and production requirements.
* Perform product labeling, packing, wrapping and helping to supply line for production.
* Assists with all required quality inspections, testing, and production documentation.
* Comply with company standards regarding housekeeping and 6S on machines and surrounding areas.
* Helps perform routine preventative maintenance and assists maintenance personnel as needed on machine related issues.
* Other duties as assigned by plant leadership, production leads, or shift leads.

Required Qualifications

* Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
* Experience operating high speed manufacturing equipment.
* Troubleshooting skills.
* Ability to solve problems and apply critical thinking to processes and equipment.
* Ability to use a tape measure.
* Experience with hand tools.
* Complete production documentation (paper and electronic): Production logs, Quality inspections, Down Time tracking.
* High school diploma or equivalent.
* Basic math, reading, and computer skills.
* High awareness toward safety for yourself and others.
* Able to work effectively and efficiently as part of a team or individually.

Preferred Qualifications

* Extrusion experience

Physical Requirements

* Frequent standing, walking, and bending.
* Pushing, pulling, lifting at least 40lbs.
* Eye/hand coordination.
