Bargaining Unit/Local: International Brotherhood of Teamsters Local 96

Rate Classification: Grade 4A - $31.56 per hour, per the Collective Bargaining Agreement

Number of Positions Available: 1

Position Summary:

Assists in the operation and maintenance of pressure regulating equipment, valves and related components (GSO facilities). Directed by higher-graded personnel to operate, maintain, calibrate, troubleshoot and install the equipment used at GSO facilities. Operates a company vehicle. Input time and data into work force management system (electronically).

You Will:
* Be under general direction of higher graded employee or supervisor.
* Assist in the operation and maintenance of GSO Facilities; including regulator station maintenance and troubleshooting, confined space work, transmission valve maintenance, transmission service maintenance.
* Perform miscellaneous duties in and around stations including yard and building maintenance, digging, snow removal, painting, grass cutting and trimming, etc.
* Perform periodic station inspections.
* Install tubing, conduit, wiring, piping, and framework for all GSO facilities.
* Interpret company records, such as, map book, station drawings, etc.
* Communicate effectively via company radio, verbal instructions, etc.
* Stock and equip company vehicles.
* Maintain tools and equipment; and other duties as assigned.

In addition to the activities described above:

*May be assigned to related business support and administrative activities (ex. backend meter processing, backend corrosion processing, backend leak/damager prevention processing, peer safety observations, vehicle clean-out, cross functional training activities, etc.)

* Shift Work: As required. Will report to various company facilities as required. Overnight travel may be required.
* Use Of Personal Vehicle: As required

* Medical Card required for vehicle >10,000 lbs.

You Have:
* High School Diploma/GED Formal technical training preferred.
* Must have a minimum of 18 months of related hands-on technical experience, using tools, such as: Pipefitting/Mechanical trade, maintenance/installation of manufacturing equipment, pumps, compressors, automotive mechanics, small engine repair, HVAC, plumbing, regulator/maintenance, etc.
* Must pass Criteria Assessment.
* Must pass Pressure Operations Pressure Tech I Entry test.
* Must pass Pressure Technician II exam within 18 months of hire.
* Must successfully complete all training and Operator Qualifications.
* Valid driver's license.
* Must be able to meet all certification requirements.
* Must successfully complete all mandated safety and annual training.
* Must have basic gas knowledge and must be able to smell odorized natural gas.
* Must have working knowledge of mathematics, physics and electronics.
* Must have basic mechanical aptitude.
* Must have basic map and drawing reading skills.
* Must have intermediate computer skills such as opening and closing files, data entry, creating and modifying spreadsheets and word documents, saving files, sending and receiving emails with attachments, etc.
