Job Summary

TDIndustries is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Facilities Administrative Assistant I to support our Facilities team in Houston. This role provides administrative and clerical support to ensure smooth day-to-day operations, efficient service delivery, and excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will be proactive, highly organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.


Essential Duties

  • Provide administrative support to facilities managers, supervisors, and technicians.

  • Assist with scheduling service requests, coordinating work orders, and tracking completion.

  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and files related to facilities operations and maintenance.

  • Process invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports in accordance with company policies.

  • Answer phones, route calls, and respond to inquiries in a professional manner.

  • Coordinate vendor visits, deliveries, and contractor access to facilities.

  • Assist with facility inspections and compliance documentation.

  • Prepare correspondence, reports, and presentations as requested.

  • Support special projects and events as needed.


Minimum Requirements

    • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree preferred.

    • 1-2 years of administrative or clerical experience, preferably in facilities, construction, or service industry.

    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

    • Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

    • Customer service-oriented with a positive, team-focused attitude.

    Physical Requirements
    • Ability to sit for extended periods and work at a computer.

    • Light lifting (up to 20 lbs) may be required for office supplies or file management.
