About the Role: Planet is looking for a strategic and experienced Product Marketing Manager to help grow the market for our AI-enabled solutions. Powered by our vast archive of proprietary Earth data and deep product stack, our solutions enable customers to monitor patterns of life and detect rapid changes at any scale - from individually dispersed sites of interest to entire countries. We're looking for a versatile Product Marketer who can effectively position these capabilities in the market, shape messaging, and help drive customer adoption across industries including defense, civil government, agriculture, energy, mining, environmental science, and other commercial enterprises. This role sits on the Product, Industry and Partner Marketing team and is responsible for developing and maintaining core internal and external assets used by teams across the company. You will work closely with Product teams to synthesize complex technical information into clear and compelling narratives, partner with marketing teams to determine effective engagement strategies and arm sales with the right content and competitive insights to accelerate deal velocity and size. This unique position offers the opportunity to play a central role in launching and scaling AI-enabled solutions that expand Earth data beyond traditional geospatial markets. You will advance groundbreaking solutions backed by proprietary data which create new capabilities for entire industries. Your work will be used by internal stakeholders at all levels and seen by decisionmakers worldwide. The ideal candidate can rapidly grasp technical concepts and develop simple and effective narratives that resonate with both technical and non-technical audiences. This role is expected to routinely present internally and externally at events and webinars, and should be adept at public speaking and evangelizing Planet's mission and solutions. This is a full-time, hybrid role which will require you to work from our San Francisco or Washington D.C. office 3 days per week. Impact You'll Own:

Compensation: The US base salary range for this full-time position at the commencement of employment is listed below. Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary short-term and long-term incentives (bonus and equity). The final salary range is determined by job related experience, skills and location. The range displays our typical hiring range for new hire salaries in US locations only.
