Essential Duties and Responsibilities |
- Define, analyze, and manage system-level requirements, interface definitions, and system architecture using Cameo Systems Modeler and SysML as part of a model-based systems engineering (MBSE) approach.
- Translate system requirements into testable verification objectives and define clear system test requirements in coordination with the test engineering team.
- Support the development and maintenance of core system documents including the System Specification, Interface Control Documents (ICDs), Requirements Traceability Verification Matrices (RTVM), System Test Plans and Procedures, and Qualification Test Plans and procedures.
- Guide the integration and verification process across hardware, firmware, software, and test engineering disciplines to ensure traceability and compliance to safety-critical standards.
- Support system and sub-system test execution, test readiness reviews (TRR), and issue resolution throughout integration and qualification.
- Contribute to system-level analyses, trade studies, and risk mitigation strategies as the product transitions from design to test and production.
- Ensure system development aligns with applicable standards including DO-178C, DO-254, MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-461, and cybersecurity compliance guidelines (e.g., NIST 800).
- Actively participate in milestone reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR, FCA, PCA) and provide input to program schedules and configuration management.
