Clariant is currently seeking a Sales Team Lead to support the Oil Services Deepwater Segment of the Care Chemicals business unit in Broussard, LA. The Sales Team Lead is responsible for managing and executing high-level offshore subsea production service operations while leading a team of Technical Field Service / Technical Service Experts. This role ensures successful delivery of service trials and projects, adherence to safety and operational standards, and achievement of customer satisfaction and KPIs. This is not a work-from-home role. Candidates must be based in or near The Woodlands, TX and/or Broussard, LA to provide on-site customer support. Responsibilities



  • Manage and safely execute offshore subsea production service operations, including trials, at an expert level in accordance with defined standards and scope
  • Onboard and train new members of the Technical Field Service team
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Technical Field Service Experts, ensuring competency and training requirements are met
  • Execute defined service tasks independently while supporting the creation and improvement of work instructions
  • Document and report service activities, conduct KPI and performance reviews with customers, and provide actionable performance reports and recommendations
  • Troubleshoot complex service situations and handle objections professionally
  • Capture and share customer insights, identifying opportunities for new projects to support organic growth
  • Extend customer relationships at all technical and operational levels
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, promote a safety culture, and implement the competency framework with timely execution of required trainings



Requirements



  • Bachelor's degree in Chemicals, Petroleum Engineering or a related field
  • 5-10 years of offshore subsea production experience in the oil production chemical services industry
  • Proven ability to lead a technical team, communicate effectively, and deliver results; role requires on-site presence-this is not a work-from-home positio
  • Must be based in or near The Woodlands, TX, and/or Broussard, LA to support the customer base; hybrid schedule providing field and on-site customer support
