Airport Manager

Pay Range: $130,000 - $160,000 annually

The Brainerd Lakes Regional Airport is recruiting an Airport Manager. Qualifications for the position include:

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree from an accredited University in the area of airport or aviation management, business administration, or public administration strongly preferred. Other combinations of education and experience may be considered.

At least five years of airside work or comparable aviation experience.

Emergency Medical Responder (EMR/First Responder) or ability to obtain certification within one year of employment.

Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting (ARFF) certification or ability to obtain certification within one year of employment.

National Weather Service or FAA Supplemental Weather Observer certification or ability to obtain within six months of employment.

Ability to successfully complete a criminal history records check and TSA background check.

Class D Drivers License.

Preferred Qualifications:

Three years of experience with progressive management responsibilities at a FAR Part 139 Airport preferred.

American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE) Accredited Airport Executive or Certified Member status preferred.
