Title: Project Controls Analyst

Salary: $ $77,600 - $90,000

Focus: We are seeking a Project Controls Analyst to support strategic budget management, financial planning, analysis, and reporting functions. This role will focus on driving actionable insights, supporting budgeting efforts, and delivering accurate financial reports to guide decision-making across departments.
Project Controls Analyst Essential Job Functions:
Assist in financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis for assigned projects.
Help to develop and maintain dashboards and financial reports to support project performance tracking.
Partner with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, pricing models, proposals, and project cost controls.
Ensure data integrity and consistency across multiple financial systems.
Perform schedule-cost integration by aligning basic timelines with financial baselines leveraging Microsoft Project data
Support ad hoc financial analysis requests from leadership and project stakeholders.
Project Controls Analyst Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree* in a Business related field; Finance or Accounting preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of finance and/or project management experience; Experience in a manufacturing or defense-related industry preferred
Strong knowledge of cost accounting, GAAP, and financial modeling.
Proficiency with ERP systems including or similar to Deltek Costpoint, IBM Cognos, or Hyland OnBase and advanced Excel skills.
Familiarity with government contracting or DoD financial compliance is a plus.
Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Location-Specific Requirements:
This position requires access to ITAR controlled technical data, and as such, employment will be contingent upon the candidate's ability to access ITAR controlled technical data pursuant to an export license approved by the Directorate of Defense Trade Controls if required.
This position requires successful vetting as an Employee Possessor in accordance with U.S. Department of Justice and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
This position requires successful vetting for unescorted access in accordance with U.S. Army and Department of Defense access policies.
