The State Programs Scheduler is responsible for answering inbound calls to assist with general questions on CDPHP and the NY State of Health including, but not limited to, how to enroll, current CDPHP enrollment status, as well as setting up appointments to enroll into coverage with CDPHP Facilitated Enrollers. Other duties will also include responding to messages and voicemails from prospective or current members requesting assistance with enrolling and re-enrolling into coverage.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Previous call center and health insurance experience preferred.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret and make decisions based on corporate underwriting guidelines, as well as State of New York & Federal statutes relating to healthcare administration.
  • Demonstrated ability to pro-actively identify problems, as well as recommend and/or implement effective solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with and maintain confidential information.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service and develop relationships both internally and externally.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Flexibility to adapt to a changing and fast-paced environment.
  • Strong system research and analysis skills; deductive and creative thinking.
  • Strong attention to detail and capability to meet established productivity and quality standards.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage time with multiple task assignments.
  • Ability to speak Spanish or another language preferable.
CDPHP salary ranges are designed to be competitive with room for professional and financial growth. Individual compensation is based on several factors unique to each candidate, such as work experience, qualifications, and skills. In addition to cash compensation, CDPHP employees may be eligible for an incentive payment, a discretionary cash reward based on employee and company performance. Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay.
