Join the Space Dynamics Laboratory (SDL) team, where you'll contribute to groundbreaking innovations! We are seeking applicants for an Entry-Level Software Engineer to join our C4ISR Systems Division
The Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) Systems Division delivers mission-critical solutions, specializing in cyber operations, information architecture, strategic deterrence, and ISR. Key Responsibilities:
- Designs, develops, troubleshoots, and analyzes software programs for computer-based systems
- Performs systems modeling, simulation, and analysis
- Designs and develops utility programs
- Interfaces with program team members, as required
- Provides inputs for documentation of new or existing programs, as required
- Write clean, consistent, well-documented code
- Implements, tests, and maintains code for internal and external customers
- Ensures that code meets end-user requirements
- Collaborates with other developers to ensure new projects integrate with existing systems
- Provides operational support for existing systems
Required Qualifications:
- Must be a US citizen
- Must have an active US Government SECRET Security Clearance or higher
- BS degree in engineering or computer science and 0-5 years of relevant experience or MS degree and 0-3 years of relevant experience
- Knowledge of common programming languages (C++, C#, JavaScript, TypeScript)
- Familiarity with software configuration management tools and processes
- Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite)
- Technical skills in programming, designing, systems development, and testing
- Introductory-level knowledge of common software development processes (revision control, peer reviews, documentation standards)
- Demonstrated proficiency in compiled and interpreted computer languages
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to establish and maintain effective team relationships
- Strong technical problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong attention to detail
*Salary Range
- $70,000 - $94,000
- Salary commensurate based on education and experience
