Job Description:

  • The Analytics Team has been short-staffed due to staff turnover since January 2025. Although position requests for Quality Assurance Specialists have been submitted to fulfill vacancies, as of this writing, a QAS list has not been promulgated from the Civil Service Commission. Even once the list is issued, staff will need to be interviewed and hired, further delaying the unit's ability to complete their required duties.
  • Two staff positions are required to be filled expeditiously as this role provides vital function and support for the Analytics Team, including, but not limited to, the following duties:
  • Collecting, gathering, analyzing, inputting, and tracking data of Managed Care Organizations (MCO) performance in providing services to Managed Long Term Services and Supports (MLTSS) members in accordance with Article 9 of the DMAHS MCO Contract.
  • Facilitation of monitoring and tracking of quarterly and annual MCO performance measures for mandatory Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) reporting.
  • Creation of monthly, quarterly, and annual templates in SharePoint/PowerApps for each MLTSS performance measure.
  • Creation of formatted Excel templates for performance measures that encompass member-level detail.
  • Receipt/compilation of MCO-reported measures.
  • Comparative analysis of mandatory MLTSS performance measures.
  • Coordination of MCO-reported data, creating illustrative data in a PowerPoint slide presentation for monthly MCO Performance Accountability Meetings.
  • Tracking and trending of performance measure statistics for data-driven decision making to inform best practices for Health Plans to effect positive change for MCO members.
  • Tracking and trending of MCO appeal and grievance data, critical incidents, PCA/PDN unstaffed cases, and other performance measures.
  • Monitoring, support, and troubleshooting for the National Core Indicators (NCI-AD) Survey: assistance with surveyor issues, ensuring survey completion, analysis of NCI-AD Survey data, and follow-up of unmet member needs to mitigate adverse member impact.
  • Analysis and expanded efforts to review results/require the Health Plans to take actionable steps to increase member satisfaction based on the results of the NCI-AD Survey.
  • Tracking and trending of member gaps in care.
  • Preparing monthly analysis/quarterly reports of MCO's progress.
  • Communicating regularly with MCO and external stakeholders regarding performance measures.
  • Excel experience required; Pivot Table experience preferred.
