Associate, Messaging and Collaboration Operations– (job location is New York, NY; employer is Nomura Holding America, Inc.) – Administer, maintain, and support a large-scale enterprise messaging environment. Deliver multi-tier operational support across global messaging platforms, including incident resolution, root cause analysis, and problem management. Execute end-to-end user mailbox migrations. Design and implement automation for routine operational tasks using scripting technologies to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort. Maintain detailed technical documentation of configurations, processes, and operational procedures for compliance and audit readiness. Participate in global 24/7 operational coverage, including on-call rotations and escalated issue resolution. Collaborate with cross-functional engineering and architecture teams to align operations with business objectives. Requirements: Master’s in Computer Science, Applied Computer Science or Computer Information Systems, plus 2 years of experience in position offered or as Technology Lead. All required experience must have included managing enterprise-grade messaging systems in a highly available, globally distributed environment; delivering and supporting multi-geographic hybrid messaging platforms aligned with ITIL practices using understanding of email routing, transport rules, message trace, mail queues and delivery protocols; administering and performing hybrid deployments in Microsoft Exchange Online and Exchange 2016/2019; planning and executing migration between on-prem Exchange and Exchange Online environments; performing PowerShell scripting and automation; administering dynamic distribution lists, user permissions, mailbox delegation and journaling; troubleshooting mail flow, queue management and connectivity scenarios; and working with MS Teams, Veritas Enterprise Vault and Proofpoint Secure Email Gateway including DMARC, DKIM and SPF configurations. Must be willing to provide on-call support after regular business hours and on weekends. #LI-DNI.
