What you would do here:
As an Analytics Engineer, you will transform raw data into actionable insights by building governed datasets, self-service data models, and high-quality dashboards. This role bridges data engineering and business analysis, empowering teams to make data-driven decisions. You will ensure data accuracy, scalability, and usability across the data warehouse, PowerBI, and other enterprise tools.
Key responsibilities include:
* Develop and maintain reusable data models in Snowflake and PowerBI.
* Collaborate with Data Engineers to design ETL/ELT pipelines that ensure data accuracy and performance.
* Build and optimize dashboards and reports to enable self-service analytics.
* Work with business stakeholders and Product Managers to define KPIs, metrics, and data requirements.
* Ensure data quality, governance, and compliance across analytics platforms.
* Document data sources, models, and transformations for knowledge sharing.
* Support predictive and advanced analytics initiatives in partnership with the AI & Data Science team.
What you already know and have done:
* Experience with SQL, data modeling, and BI tools (PowerBI, Tableau, or similar).
* Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL/ELT processes.
* Ability to translate business questions into data solutions.
* Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, or Azure Synapse).
* Strong collaboration skills and ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ideally you have:
* 3-5 years of experience in analytics, BI engineering, or data engineering.
* Experience building scalable self-service data models and dashboards.
* Familiarity with Python or R for light analytics preferred.
* Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, data science, data analytics, or related field.
