Operational Excellence Intern Summer 2026

As an Operational Excellence intern, you will contribute to process details of how each area functions while assessing opportunities for improvement in the factory. You will analyze data to drive metrics on the factory floor and be a resource for all things continuous improvement.

You will report to the Operational Excellence & Training Manager and be located at our Blairsville location. This is a paid full-time onsite summer position.

• Support the planning, mapping, documenting, and improvement of standardized work and operational practices
• Help with Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement activities, including execution of structured improvement events and data collection efforts
• Data analysis and graph production on historical and current organizational metrics
• Provide factory floor presence for process observations and time studies identifying in-process waste

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in engineering, operations, business, or related field
• Minimum GPA of 3.0
• Complete Sophomore year of college
• US Citizen or Permanent Resident
• No relocation assistance provided

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The hourly rate for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $18.70 to $27.50 per hour.
