Job Summary:

Our Medical Affairs Team has an opportunity for a Scientific Advisor, Clinical and Scientific Resources. This cross-functional role is suited to a highly motivated individual who takes initiative and thrives in a complex environment. The role focuses on (1) developing content and strategies that support scientific and clinical education of HCPs, (2) managing and updating a library of approved medical content to be used for HCP-facing engagements, including slides for external speakers, (3) serving as a subject matter expert and key medical resource for KOLs and Revance Faculty on the Revance portfolio and (4) ensuring the delivery of accurate, fair-balanced, and compliant Revance medical content by HCPs. This is a unique opportunity to shape the way scientific and clinical knowledge is shared with external stakeholders. They will work closely with the HCP Education team, Medical Affairs Scientific Advisors, Brand, and Creative Studio to develop resources and plan for the execution of HCP Education and HCP-facing medical engagements. This person will develop and maintain professional relationships with Revance Faculty to ensure the scientific and technical needs of the HCPs, HCP Education, Brand, and Medical Affairs are identified and met.

Responsibilities/Essential Duties:



  • Partner with Medical Directors and Scientific Advisors to drive the development and implementation of medical content strategies for HCP-facing resources for HCP Education and the field medical team, including but not limited to Faculty onboarding, Faculty curriculum, injection guides, videos, scripts, speaker/podium presentations, roundtable discussions, and medical ad board slides
  • Work with Medical Directors to create and maintain existing core Medical decks
  • Maintain and update a library of medical slides/decks on the Revance portfolio to be used for HCP-facing medical engagements, including but not limited to medical ad boards, CME programs, and KOL speaker slides
  • Ensure medical content is scientifically rigorous, compliant, and tailored to address the needs of HCPs and the medical field team
  • Work with Revance Faculty to establish consistency of medical content delivery and alignment on injection techniques
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with Revance Faculty, ensuring they are effectively prepared and supported in their roles
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of Faculty training programs, making continuous improvements as needed
  • Liaise with Faculty, Brand, HCP Education, and external partners at key HCP Education events to drive the effective execution of medical messages
  • Monitor and evaluate competitor medical content to support the development of medical- and HCP-delivered resources
  • Partner with HCP Education and scientific advisors on the submission process to the Promotional Review Committee of HCP-facing medical content and collaborate with the creative team to ensure timely execution of the input/recommendations from PRC reviewers
  • Exhibit high degree of understanding with regulatory guidelines and standards around promotional content
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Ability to travel 30%


Basic Qualifications:



  • Advanced clinical or science degree required (PharmD/PhD/MD/DNP/DNSc)
  • 5+ experience in medical writing, medical content creation, slide development and scientific communication in the pharmaceutical or aesthetics industry is required.


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Relevant experience in HCP engagement and relationship building, peer-to-peer education, and clinical practice
  • 5+ years of Medical Affairs experience, preferably with aesthetic experience
  • Team-oriented individual
  • Demonstrated ability to influence speakers to ensure technique alignment
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret scientific and technical publications and other materials
  • Skilled in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and other content development tools
