MORI Associates is looking for a talented, reliable, deadline-driven Event Coordinator to join our communication team supporting the Next Gen STEM Program run out of NASA Johnson Space Center. The successful candidate will plan, coordinate and execute all aspects of special events. The successful candidate must be detail-oriented, collaborative and committed to meeting tight deadlines.

NASA's Next Gen STEM program prepares high school and community college students to launch into aerospace careers through hands-on learning and real NASA experiences. We're seeking a skilled Event Coordinator to help plan and deliver dynamic student engagement events - both in-person and virtual - that connect learners with NASA missions, experts, and career pathways.
What You'll Do
  • Plan and coordinate CTE Days, STEMonstrations, and Virtual Career Connections that showcase technical career paths in aerospace.
  • Manage all event logistics: timelines, registration, coordination with schools and partners, virtual platform setup, and on-site execution.
  • Support NASA Downlinks - live events connecting students with astronauts aboard the ISS - by coordinating schools, scheduling, and broadcast logistics.
  • Track participation, collect metrics, and develop summary reports to measure impact.
What You Bring
  • High School Diploma
  • 5 years of related experience, including 3+ years of experience planning and managing events or educational programs.
  • Strong organization, communication, and multitasking skills.
  • Proficiency with online event platforms and collaborative tools.
  • Passion for STEM education and inspiring future innovators.


Work Details
  • Hybrid position - may be based at any NASA Center.
  • Travel: Occasional, up to once per quarter.
