Job Title: Solution Architect, TIBCO Lead

Worksite Location: 511 Farber Lakes Drive, Buffalo, NY 14221

Job Description

Guide other Architects in the definition, design, enhancement, and solution delivery of the TIBCO application and troubleshooting integration issues. Evaluate and provide technical solution recommendations to meet enterprise-wide business requirements and guide the team to successful solution implementation using Agile development methodology. This includes the use of TIBCO BusinessWorks 5.x and 6.x, Hawk, Rendezvous, Foresight Instream, Foresight Translator, HIPAA X12, TIBCO Enterprise, Messaging Service, TIBCO Enterprise Administrator, Web Services, XSLT, XPATH, WSDL, SOAP, and Java. Working on continuous integration and continuous deployments using Jenkins, Maven, and Nexus, with SVN and GIT as the source control repository. Understand the interdependencies of the enterprise landscape, factoring in technology investments and risks while providing business value by identifying integration scenarios and interfaces for different use cases. Provide day-to-day technical support to Solution Architects, Application Developers, and other IT resources to solve problems, provide guidance, and direction by performing code reviews and test results reviews to verify functionality and implementing bug fixes. Evaluate workload and capacity of team members and use time management skills to assist in managing competing priorities. Provide technical direction by developing and/or recommending alternatives and creative solutions that are both effective and efficient in cost and process. Evaluate workload and capacity of systems and provide insight during estimating processes. Work with the Application Development Manager, to develop team goals and objectives to support corporate goals. Be an active participant in the creation and adherence to standards and guidelines to ensure quality solutions. Create reusability into systems for other IT resources to utilize in their development efforts by creating solutions using microservice architecture and RESTful APIs. Develop written specifications (XSDs, Mapping documents and Service specifications) and documentation according to the engineering lifecycle that aid in development, use, and support. Design solutions to provide the appropriate levels of stability, security, integrity, availability, productivity, and efficiency using TIBCO Suite of products.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's (or foreign educ. equiv.) Degree in Engineering field, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field plus five (5) years' (post degree progressive) experience in the job offered or related occupation.

Special Skill Requirements:

Preparing mapping documents, XSDs and Service Specifications. Experience with microservice architecture and RESTful API. Implementing the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) throughout all custom developments. Designing and developing EDI applications and integrations using the TIBCO suite of products, including BusinessWorks 5.x and 6.x, Hawk, Rendezvous, Foresight Instream, Foresight Translator, Enterprise Messaging Service, Enterprise Administrator, and Web Services, as well as XML technologies, including XSLT, XPATH, WSDL, SOAP, and Java. Building, deploying, and enhancing software applications in an Agile development cycle using Jenkins, Maven, and Nexus, using SVN and GIT as the source control repository. Performing review of code and test results to verify functionality and performing bug fixes. Identifying Integration scenarios and interfaces for different use cases and troubleshooting TIBCO based integration issues found during System Integration Testing and User Acceptance Testing.

Base Salary: $120,000 - $155,000 per annum. 40 hours per week; M-F
