 The OpportunityDigital Media Mobile Go-to-Market Applied Data Science and Analytics team is looking for a seasoned and passionate Data Scientist (Individual Contributor) to drive the rapid growing mobile business.
 This is a hybrid role of data science and strategy. In this role, you will leverage your data science skill and machine learning techniques to generate actionable data-driven recommendations to empower mobile business across full funnel of customer journey (acquisition, monetization, engagement and retention). The ideal candidate will be a 'self-starter' with outstanding quantitative analytical skill, superb business intuition, fantastic communication skill, and most importantly, the ability to use analytics to drive/influence business decision making.
 What You Will Do
 
 Apply expertise in quantitative analysis and data modeling to gain deep insights into customers behaviors/journey across surfaces, short and long-term trend, and present impactful recommendations to grow the businessActing as a thought partner to the GTM business leads, Sales, PM, PMM, and other partners and influence decisions through the storytelling of data-driven recommendations, analysis, and experiment resultsIdentify the business opportunities, build the use cases, and recommend data science initiatives to unlock the business that will inform our data science plan and data driven product roadmapUsing data science models to tackle critical business challenges and drive recurring, scalable, and programmatic business unlocksRecommend testing ideas based on the analysis
 What Is Needed To Succeed 
 Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $109,000 -- $192,400 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.Bachelor's degree in quantitative fields, e.g., Computer Science, Math/Statistics, Economics, Physics, or equivalent practical experience. MBA or a master's degree is preferred2-3 years hands-on experience doing quantitative analysis in tech or management consultingDemonstrable experience using quantitative analysis/statistical modeling on data sets to tackle intricate business problemsPhenomenal at telling stories with data and communicating it to partners at all levels to influence critical decision makingStrong proficiency in querying and manipulating volumes of data sets for analytical purposes using SQL-like languagesDeep understanding of mobile analytics, mobile user journey and funnel analysis is strongly preferredStatistical Modeling in Microsoft Excel or Power PivotExperience building and training statistical/data science modelsExperience in Data Visualization tools, preferably, Tableau and Power BIA solid sense of self and a great sense of humorA fast learner with desire to learn new things At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans.
