Laborist - Macomb

Henry Ford Macomb Hospital, Clinton Township, MI is seeking a full time Board Certified/Board Eligible OB/GYN Hospitalist Physician to function as a day and/or night OB hospitalist at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital. Shifts range from 8 to 24 hours depending on preference.

Henry Ford Macomb Hospital offers level II perinatal services (Maternal Fetal Medicine consults and Neonatology available), 24-hour anesthesia coverage and averages over 100 deliveries per month.All OB/GYN specialties are represented in the department of Obstetrics and Gynecology which includes a 12-resident ACGME-accredited training program and a clinically strong OB/GYN generalist service.

Responsibilities:

* Management of residents as they evaluated and treat patients in the emergency room, OB triage, labor and delivery and the OR

* Provide appropriate oversight and clinical teaching of medical students, residents and other learners

* Complete OB and GYN consults, including those from the Emergency Department

* Perform minor GYN surgeries
