The Team

Okta Customer Acceleration is looking for a UI/UX Designer to join our Knowledge, Online Support, and Communities team. We are a collaborative group focused on delivering high-quality, user-centered experiences across our support platforms. We work at the intersection of customer experience, digital design, and self-service strategy, helping users find the right answers and connect with our support ecosystem more efficiently.

The Opportunity

In this role, you will help shape the Okta and Auth0 Support Center and Communities. The ideal candidate has both a strategic mindset to create impactful designs that align with business goals and proficiency in research methods to gather insights and inform design decisions. You'll be responsible for creating digitally innovative and visually appealing user experiences that meet business and user requirements while advancing our brand. Experience designing for Salesforce Service and Salesforce Experience Cloud interfaces is a plus.

What you'll be doing



  • Perform UX research to gather insights and inform design decisions
  • Present and articulate rationale for ideas in a clear and concise manner
  • Design wireframes and user flows for projects that require long-term thinking
  • Balance creative freedom with strategic priorities and implementation
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers and content creators



What you'll bring to the role



  • Expert knowledge of Figma and responsive design
  • Experience with high-fidelity wireframes
  • Expertise with design systems and codebases to maintain consistency across projects
  • Deep empathy for users, understanding their pain points and needs
  • A strong understanding of how to iterate on designs and refine solutions based on user testing
  • Experience designing for Salesforce Service and Salesforce Experience Cloud a plus

The annual base salary range for this position for candidates located in the San Francisco Bay area is between:
$97,000 $145,000 USD

Below is the annual base salary range for candidates located in California, Colorado, New York and Washington. Your actual base salary will depend on factors such as your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location. In addition, Okta offers equity (where applicable), bonus, and benefits, including health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), flexible spending account, and paid leave (including PTO and parental leave) in accordance with our applicable plans and policies. The annual base salary range for this position for candidates located in California (excluding San Francisco Bay Area), Colorado, New York, and Washington is between:
$86,000 $130,000 USD
