DESCRIPTION/JOB SUMMARY
Assist with creating drawings, sketches, diagrams, designs and layouts that exhibit the detail and method of assembly for a variety of machinery and mechanical devices using CAD/CAM systems RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES *Assist with developing detailed design drawings and specifications for standard and intermediate mechanical equipment, dies/tools and controls using computer assisted drafting (CAD) equipment *Use precision tools such as micrometers, calipers and height gages *Assist with the reviewing and analyzing specifications, sketches, drawings, ideas and related data to assess factors affecting component designs and the procedures and instructions to be followed *Assist with organization and cleaning of work area, keeping aisles and walkways clear at all times *Ensure all safety and security rules are strictly observed and any accidents, incidents or injuries are promptly reported to management *Focus on continuous improvement, and consistently demonstrate good business judgment *Work effectively with all Stealth departments to exceed internal and external expectations *Stealth retains the discretion to modify duties and/or assign other duties as necessary REQUIRED SKILLS *Must be a team player, detail-oriented, and honest Must have the ability to: *Multi-task, problem-solve, and prioritize in a fast-paced working environment *Read and comprehend work instructions *Interpret, read and visualize drawings Must have: *Relentless drive to achieve advancement and continuous improvement *Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word and Excel *Excellent web navigation skills *Excellent verbal and written communication skills *A willingness to learn and/or adapt to new work methods PREFERRED SKILLS *Basic working knowledge of SolidWorks REQUIRED EXPERIENCE *This is an entry level position PREFERRED EXPERIENCE *CAD experience in an environment supporting design, manufacturing or technical processes *Experience using standard precision measuring devices such as micrometers, calipers and height gauges *Current or previous successful employment experience with Stealth Products *Previous work experience in a manufacturing environment REQUIRED EDUCATION *High School Diploma or GED PREFERRED EDUCATION *Associate's Degree in Engineering CAD Technology or a related technical discipline OR High School Diploma or GED with at least 6 years of CAD experience in an environment supporting design, manufacturing, or technical processes REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS *Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now, or in the future DETAILS This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive Stealth Products is an Equal Opportunity employer.
