What's the role?The Digital Marketing Coordinator for Digital Business Transformation is integral to advancing the digital capabilities of the marketing team. This role focuses on managing and maintaining data integrity, overseeing cross-functional project management, and supporting digital transformation initiatives. The Digital Marketing Coordinator will collaborate across the marketing team to ensure seamless integration of digital tools and processes, driving efficiency and innovation. Additionally, this role will adapt to evolving business needs, undertaking various tasks to support the team's strategic objectives.

Here's what you'll do:

Data Management and Maintenance:

  • Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of marketing data across various internal platforms.
  • Develop and implement data management processes and best practices to enhance data quality.
  • Work closely with the data analyst to ensure accurate data collection and reporting processes are in place.

Cross-Functional Project Management:

  • Lead and coordinate marketing projects that involve collaboration across different teams and functions.
  • Develop project timelines, track progress, and ensure timely completion of deliverables.
  • Facilitate regular communication and updates among stakeholders to align project goals and expectations.

Support Digital Transformation Initiatives:

  • Assist in the identification and implementation of digital tools and technologies that enhance marketing efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with team members to develop and execute digital marketing strategies that align with overall business objectives.
  • Propose enhancements to existing digital tools and processes based on feedback and performance analysis.

Task Adaptability:

  • Take on additional responsibilities and projects as assigned by management to support the overall goals of the marketing team.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation within the marketing function.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Foster strong relationships with internal teams, stakeholders, and external partners to ensure alignment and support for marketing initiatives.
  • Prepare and present reports on project status, data insights, and digital transformation progress to senior management.

Do you qualify?

  • 2+ years of marketing or digital marketing support, or related field experience required
  • 1+ years' experience in optical or similar medical/technical product category preferred
  • Marketing Principles: Understanding of fundamental marketing concepts, strategies, and best
    practices.
  • Digital Marketing: Knowledge of digital marketing channels, tools, and technologies, including SEO, SEM, social media, and email marketing.
  • Data Management: Familiarity with data management practices, data quality standard, and data governance.
  • Project Management: Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools to effectively plan and execute projects.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data and metrics to derive actionable insights and inform marketing strategies.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey information and collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational abilities to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in marketing automation tools and CRM systems (Salesforce).
  • Collaborations: Ability to work effectively in a team environment and build strong relationships with cross-functional teams.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs and priorities, with a willingness to take on new tasks and challenges.
  • Problem Solving: Strong problem-solving skills to identify issues and develop effective solutions in a timely manner
  • Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail to ensure data accuracy and quality on all marketing initiatives.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position.

The pay offered for this role may be influenced by factors such as job location, scope of role, qualifications, education, experience, & complexity/specialization/scarcity of talent.

This position is also eligible for a performance bonus. ZEISS also offers robust benefits, including medical plans, retirement savings plan and paid time off.
