Manager, Payroll & Expense Reporting

Position Summary:


Manage and coordinate the processes relating to weekly Field Mechanics payroll, weekly Factory payrollsand Semi-monthly salaried payroll for both US and Canada (7000+ employees) as well as all special off-cycle payments. Oversee the Expense Reporting systems and activities.


Key Responsibilities Include:



  • Manage ADP relationship as it relates to payroll processing, tax payments, garnishments, etc.
  • Manage all timely reconciliations of all cash and payroll related accounts, including all related general ledger activity.
  • Manage the expense reporting systems including payments to vendors and reimbursements to employees.
  • Oversee all required internal and external reporting tied to payroll activities/output.
  • Serve as a technical process and procedure expert as it relates to the payroll system.
  • Manage all internal and external audits related to payroll and associated activities.
  • Work with Field Operations Organization, Human Resources, and Information Systems to develop processes to assure compliance with all governmental and internal wage reporting.
  • Coordinate all required payroll archiving activities
  • Supervise staff of payroll professionals.

What you bring

Key Experience and Skills Include:



  • 5 years or more payroll management experience and supervising a team.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • ADP Global View or SAP Payroll experience is preferred.
  • Knowledge of client server application is preferred.
  • General ledger/accounting procedures/practices is required.
  • Manage multipleprojects.
  • BS in Accounting, Finance, or other business related major.
