Position Title: Packer / Inspector - Weekends Wage: $18.00 - $19.50/hour Shift: 1st, 2nd or 3rd Hours: 6:00am - 2:00pm, 2:00pm - 10:00pm or 10:00pm - 6:00am Looking to earn extra income on the weekends? QPS Employment Group is hiring Production Packers/Inspectors in Des Plaines, IL. This WEEKEND-ONLY position is perfect for those seeking hands-on work without the full-time grind. If you're detail-oriented, safety-focused, and ready to roll up your sleeves, we want you on our weekend crew! Packer / Inspector Responsibilities: - Monitor quality, maintaining a flow of material through the extrusion process - Maintain automation equipment ensuring that finished materials meet the specific quality standards and are packaged properly - Assemble boxes or cartons, counting and placing only inspected finished products which meet specifications into the appropriate box or carton - Label boxes and stack onto skid - Use calipers (inside and outside), gauges, other measuring devices and "samples" to ensure quality- finished product meets specifications - Maintain clean work area Requirements for Packer / Inspector: - Able to read blueprint drawings, specification sheet and shop orders to determine package requirements, product specification and dimensions and material requirements - Understanding of packing methods and carton sizes including the location of boxes within manufacturing area schaumburg@qpsemployment.com IND133 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
