Staffmark is hiring a CNC Machinist/Programmer! Are you an experienced CNC Machinist/Programmer ready to take charge of day-to-day machining operations? Join a dynamic team where your skills in quoting, programming, machine operation, and leadership will directly impact the production of high-precision, tight-tolerance parts. Your expertise will be crucial in developing and modifying NC programs for milling and lathe operations, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency throughout the process. Pay: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour Schedule: Monday - Friday, with weekends as needed What You'll Do: Prepare bids, quotes, and estimates based on customer RFQs in collaboration with sales Provide accurate machine time and tooling cost estimates to the sales team Create setup sheets and documentation to guide machine operators in program execution Support AS9100 audits and maintain compliance with quality standards Mentor and lead a small team of machinists, fostering skill growth and proficiency Program NC operations using the latest MasterCAM software Design custom tools and fixtures as required Collaborate with sales, customers, and machinists to ensure smooth communication Drive process improvements in machining and workflow Maintain strict configuration control over electronic files and job records Uphold safety standards in an industrial environment What You Bring: Minimum 5 years of CNC programming experience with strong knowledge of G & M codes 8+ years machining experience on both mills and lathes Solid understanding of GD&T, fixture design, setup sheet creation, and tooling selection Experience working with stainless steel, aluminum, titanium, nickel, and other exotic materials Ability to read and interpret blueprints with precision Design for manufacturing experience is a plus Proficient in using precision hand tools and measurement devices Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as lead others Why You'll Love This Job: We offer a comprehensive benefits package to support your health, financial goals, and work-life balance.
