Are you a detail-driven technical communicator with experience in the defense industry? Advantage Technical is seeking a Senior Technical Writer/Editor to join our team and contribute to the creation and maintenance of high-quality technical documentation for complex mechanical and electrical systems.

Pay: $52.60/hr

What You'll Do:



  • Develop, edit, and maintain technical manuals, maintenance procedures, and system documentation
  • Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and subject matter experts to ensure accurate content
  • Ensure documentation complies with relevant military and commercial standards
  • Support validation/verification processes and participate in on-vehicle testing when required
  • Engage with customers as needed-some roles involve direct client interface representing BAE



Requirements:



  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical discipline OR equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of technical writing experience in mechanical/electrical/operational systems
  • Familiarity with applicable military and commercial documentation standards
  • Strong understanding of tech writing within the defense industry
  • Experience with Content Management Systems (CMS)
  • On-vehicle validation/verification experience
  • Customer-facing communication and support skills
