DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this position, you will take on the responsibility of supporting the lead staff and supervisory personnel in the development, implementation, and oversight of treatment, training, and related services offered within the Central Building of Selinsgrove Center. As an integral member of the Interdisciplinary Team, your role will involve providing treatment and training services focused on self-care, socialization, and health maintenance, all tailored to the specific needs outlined in each individual's Individual Support Plan. The overall coordination and guidance for these services will be provided by the Qualified Developmental Disability Professional (QDDP) or the Residential Services Supervisor (RSS), ensuring that each individual's care is both comprehensive and aligned with their personal goals. - Full-time employment
- Work hours are 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, with a 30-minute lunch. You will have rotating days off and every third weekend off.
- Travel and overtime as needed
- Free parking!
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
- Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $42,521.00 (before taxes).

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Successful completion of the Aide Trainee program (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- Six months of paid experience in the care, activities, and personal guidance of individuals with intellectual disabilities.
Other Requirements:

- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Legal Requirements:
- A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination and drug screening.
- This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
- Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
