Responsibilities
Springwoods Behavioral Health is an 80-bed full-service behavioral healthcare acute care facility located in Fayetteville AR. Springwoods Behavioral Health Services of Arkansas is looking for a PRN Teacher for our acute child/adolescent patients. Under the general supervision of the Director of Education, this position exists to provide direct instruction and other educational services to hospitalized children and adolescents in order to help them maintain or improve their academic performance levels/standing and help them make a smooth post-discharge transition back into their home school setting. NOTE: ALL CLASSROOM LESSON PLANS AND GRADING WILL BE CONDUCTED WITHIN WORKING HOURS TO MAINTAIN PATIENT CONFIDENTIALITY. Qualifications Under the general supervision of the Director of Education, this position provides direct instruction and other educational services to hospitalized children and adolescents in order to help them maintain or improve their academic performance levels or standing and to help them make a smooth post-discharge transition into their home school setting or appropriate educational setting. Education: Bachelor's Degree required in a behavioral health field.
