SCOPE/CONTACTS:

Assume responsibility for daily TS operations in all areas of the department; interface with all managers of areas using TS services to assure timely resolution of all problems and questions involving TS; interface with management of all banks involving changes in TS requirements; prepare request for new/additional equipment to meet changing requirements for products and regulations; prepare budget for TS department; prepare presentations for potential new customers.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Ensure that an adequately trained staff exists to meet all TS requirements.
  • Ensure that all-federal requirements and standards are met within the department.
  • Provide advice and guidance to all supervisors within the department.
  • Ensure strong supervisory management at every level.
  • Coordinate with the FFIN marketing department in the planning and developing of new TS products.
  • Ensure orderly installation of all new applications developed by the TS company.
  • Ensure that financial goals of the TS company are attained.
  • Actively participate in the Customer Service First sales and service culture, support the values of the organization and follow established company policies and procedures.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Requires extensive knowledge of Data Processing, auditing procedures, accounting, and banking.
  • Requires strong administrative and personnel management skills, as well as strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Incumbent must be familiar with all federal requirements for bank processing centers.
  • Must have sufficient programming knowledge to manage the various projects that occur in the Technology company.
  • Incumbent must have extensive knowledge of telecommunication procedures for general data communications.
  • Must have knowledge of ATM processing and transaction distribution techniques.
