This role will serve as a Floater position for our Western region, supporting the Medford, Commack, Islandia, and West Babylon branches. Role Overview: Our Personal Banker II - Floaters are responsible for delivering exceptional service to both current and prospective Suffolk Credit Union members. In this role, they focus on building and enhancing relationships through strategies like acquisition, retention, and cross-selling within retail banking. Representatives also identify opportunities for referrals to areas such as consumer lending, commercial lending, mortgage lending, and wealth management. They work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve departmental and Credit Union goals, maintaining a high level of accuracy, reliability, and member satisfaction. Key Responsibilities:
Essential Qualifications: Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalency certification. Two (2) years of customer service, preferably in a banking environment. Supervisory and cash handling experience preferred. Notary License required or to be obtained within three (3) months of hire. NMLS-ID (Mortgage Loan Originator) required and will be provided at time of hire if not already acquired. Bilingual preferred.
