Description

As the Program Manager for our Enhanced Turnkey program, you will be responsible for developing and overseeing energy efficiency programs through planning, directing and coordinating workers engaged in performing Heat Pump installations, Electrical work, Mold remediation, Vermiculite remediation, and other types of construction services for customers in the Mass Save Program. The successful Program Manager will be responsible for the overall activities and success of the Enhanced Turnkey program and will be directly responsible for program performance and serve as the primary point of contact for Program Sponsors. The position may require some same day travel throughout Massachusetts and Rhode Island and will require a sound knowledge of Energy Efficiency opportunities and technologies.

As the primary point of contact, the Program Manager must possess the ability to think creatively, strive to develop new opportunities and deliver quality service to the program sponsors and their customers. This position can be based in our Cranston, RI or Hyannis, MA locations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:



  • Act as the primary liaison between Program Sponsors and RISE
  • Facilitate regular meetings between key stakeholders to ensure proper delivery of program offerings
  • Ensure project tracking and sales management tools are maintained and report progress regularly
  • Provide support to Project Managers to close projects
  • Manage pipeline projections and reporting
  • The candidate will be directly responsible for program performance and serve as the primary point of contact with program sponsors
  • Responsible for creation and delivery of program reporting to leadership in a timely manner
  • Responsible for achieving program budgets, energy savings and cost effectiveness goals
  • Following up with stakeholders and customers to ensure timely closing of projects
  • Respond to inquiries from all stakeholders internal and external
  • Provide QA/QC for all project measure recommendations to ensure accuracy and cost effectiveness
  • The role will include supervision of program coordination staff as applicable
  • Responsible for working with RISE management and the appropriate agencies to develop program standards, metrics, reporting, and ensure compliance within these guidelines
  • Train, direct, and maintain good working relationships with RISE field staff and installation crews


Minimum Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in business, management or engineering and 2+ years' experience working in the energy efficiency industry. In lieu of a bachelor's degree, 5+ years' experience working in the energy efficiency industry
  • Strong background in utility-based energy efficiency programs
  • 5+ years' "hands-on" experience in the identification, specification, and/or installation of energy efficiency technologies
  • Sound understanding of residential building systems
  • Exceptional organizational, problem solving, and multi-tasking skills
  • Working knowledge of spreadsheet, word processing and/or database programs
  • Proficiency in process improvement, exceptional customer service skills, and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, work effectively with high volumes, and meet short deadlines
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Building Performance Institute (BPI)
  • Certified Energy Manager (CEM)
  • Business development experience preferred


Work Environment, Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:

This position requires the employee to work in a professional office environment and routinely use standard office equipment. Position will entail frequent sedentary work and occasional standing. It is a full-time 40-hour position. Days and hours of work may vary but are typically Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with no travel required for this position.
