Our Data Analytics and AI organization is looking for a Senior Business Intelligence Engineer to join Snowflake's Go-To-Market (GTM) Analytics team. In this role, you will be a critical partner to Marketing leadership, providing data-driven insights to optimize sales and marketing strategies, drive revenue growth, and enhance our overall market intelligence.

We are looking for talented candidates who can push the boundaries of our existing ecosystem, design new state-of-the-art solutions, and share these best practices with our customers and partners. You will be part of a team charged with building scalable reporting and executing structured analyses to enable our GTM teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Design, architect, own, and manage key data pipelines and datasets that are powering critical views into the health of the GTM funnel, from lead generation to customer acquisition and expansion.

  • Conduct rigorous analysis focused on solving business problems with Snowflake and provide actionable data insights to GTM leadership.

  • Act as a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders to translate complex data into clear, impactful business recommendations.

  • Collaborate with a team of high-performing analytics and data science professionals to identify business opportunities, and solutions to address them

  • Think creatively, proactively, and futuristically to identify new opportunities within Snowflake's long term roadmap for business intelligence

  • Act as "customer zero" for Snowflake so we can continue to evolve an even more powerful, intuitive Snowflake product and demonstrations of our internal Snowflake on Snowflake utilization

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • A degree in a quantitative discipline: statistics, operations research, computer science, informatics, engineering, applied mathematics, economics, etc.

  • At least 5+ years of experience in an analytics or data-oriented role, preferably in a GTM or marketing context

  • Experience working as a part of a team and working across multiple stakeholder groups

  • Extensive experience in a querying language such as SQL

  • Experience in a scripting language such as Python or R

  • Experience in a visualization or dashboarding tool such as Tableau, Mode, Looker, or Sigma

  • Experience in pipeline orchestration (i.e. DBT or Airflow) and relevant ETL tooling

  • Excellent communication skills to summarize insights and recommendations to audiences of varying levels of technical sophistication

  • A degree in a quantitative discipline such as (but not limited to) statistics, operations research, computer science, informatics, engineering, applied mathematics, or economics.

  • Familiarity with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and other sales enablement tools is a plus.

  • Knowledge of Cloud, SaaS business models and B2B channel structures is a plus.

The following represents the expected range of compensation for this role:

  • The estimated base salary range for this role is $134,000 - $180,100.
  • Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Snowflake's bonus and equity plan.

The successful candidate's starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location. This role is also eligible for a competitive benefits package that includes: medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance; 401(k) retirement plan; flexible spending & health savings account; at least 12 paid holidays; paid time off; parental leave; employee assistance program; and other company benefits.
