We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Manager to oversee a large, dynamic accounting team. This candidate is a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can drive accuracy, accountability, and timely financial reporting across multiple entities. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage two accounting supervisors and their teams, ensuring deliverables are met accurately and on schedule. Oversee month-end close and deliver complete financial statements by day 5 of each month. Perform detailed variance and flux analysis on both expense and revenue accounts across the entire P&L. Review and approve journal entries, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations. Ensure proper expense allocations and chargebacks across entities and business units. Compile and present monthly and quarterly financial results to executive leadership, clearly articulating key drivers and trends. Partner with multiple business units to resolve accounting issues and respond to ad hoc requests. Support year-end accruals and work extended hours (including 3 Saturdays in January) during peak close periods. Must-Have Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 5+ years of experience in private accounting, with prior experience managing a large team. Strong background in General Ledger Accounting and month-end close. Advanced skills in variance/flux analysis and financial reporting. Proven experience in large corporate environments with multi-entity structures. Excellent communication and presentation skills; confident presenting to executive leadership. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced). Demonstrated ability to hold teams accountable and build a culture of ownership and performance. Public/private mix experience preferred. Nice to Have Experience with Oracle EPM and SmartView. CPA or equivalent certification. Additional Details Role is 100% on-site. Approximately 40 hours/week except during year-end, when additional hours may be required.
