About the Role

We are seeking a Sanitation Worker to join our team at our Santa Ana, CA bakery. As a Sanitation Worker, you will be accountable for cleaning and sanitizing production equipment and maintaining hygienic work areas to support food safety, product quality, and regulatory compliance.

Shift & Schedule

• Shift: 2nd
• Hours: 1:00PM - 9:30PM
• Weekend availability: Required
• Holiday availability: Required

Compensation

• Hourly Rate: $18.50 - $21.00

Core Accountabilities (What You'll be Doing)

• Clean and sanitize production equipment in alignment with SSOPs and food safety standards
• Disassemble and reassemble equipment to support proper cleaning and safe operation
• Maintain accurate sanitation records and documentation as required by regulatory standards
• Handle and apply cleaning chemicals safely while maintaining proper labeling, storage, and usage
• Maintain clean and hygienic production, sanitation, and chemical storage areas
• Follow GMPs, HACCP practices, and other compliance requirements consistently
• Build effective working relationships to support sanitation and production needs

Minimum Qualifications (What You Bring to the Table)

• 1-2 years of sanitation experience, preferably in bakery or food manufacturing
• Ability to read and write in English and/or Spanish at an elementary level
• GMP/HACCP knowledge or certification
• Ability to lift, bend, reach, and perform repetitive motions
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and assigned shifts
• Ability to work safely with chemicals and follow sanitation procedures

Preferred Qualifications (Extra Ingredients for Success)

• CPR/First Aid certification
• Experience with equipment disassembly and sanitation in manufacturing environments
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured procedures
• Ability to work collaboratively across sanitation and production teams
• Commitment to maintaining safe and contaminantfree workspaces
