The Position

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Principal Software Engineer to lead the development of innovative software solutions within our Early Clinical Development (ECD) department in Roche/Genentech. In this critical role, you will lead the strategic direction and execution of software engineering initiatives, enabling the acceleration of early clinical trial development and ultimately bringing life-changing medicines to patients faster. You will mentor and coach engineers within the ECD Clinical Data Insight and Automation (CDI&A), fostering a culture of technical excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Onsite presence on our South San Francisco campus is expected for at least 3 days a week. Relocation benefits are not available for this job posting. The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of California is $177,300 - $329,300. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
