QA/RC Specialist

The Quality Specialist supports the Quality Management System by ensuring compliance with global regulations and company standards related to Quality Systems including, but not limited to; Corrective and Preventive Actions, Change Management, Document Control, Customer Complaints, Deviations, Training, Internal Audits.
Essential Job Results
ENSURING COMPLIANCE OF QUALITY SYSTEMS:
Maintaining quality systems for successful completion by monitoring open activities for
compliance with due dates, working with activity owners for timely completion, ensuring all
activities have been accurately documented and meet the requirements of policies and
regulations.
ENSURES REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS ARE MET BY:
Understanding regulatory requirements related to Quality Systems in markets where the
products are sold, including timeframes for investigations and reporting; drafting and
maintaining procedures; reviewing documents and presenting recommendations on reporting
requirements to management; working with R&D to update product risk management files; and
writing and submitting reports to regulatory authorities within the required timeframe.
IMPROVES PRODUCT PERFORMANCE BY:
Analyzing data collected using spreadsheets, graphs, basic statistics, or other analysis techniques;
reporting on results in a meaningful way including graphs, images, and summaries as appropriate;
communicating results to QA/RC Department Management, Quality Engineers, and other groups
via email and narratives, reports, and virtual and in-person presentations; creating reports to
support risk management and clinical evaluations; and proposing improvement actions, including
corrective and preventive actions based on the data analysis.
PROMOTES ACCURATE RECORDS BY:
Reviewing/auditing records for completeness; working with Customer Experience to correct
errors; communicating best practices for documentation practices and record keeping proposing
system, process, and form improvements.
SUPPORTS THE BUSINESS BY:
Reporting to the site Quality Management Representative; accomplishing miscellaneous duties
as needed to maintain the safest working environment, maintain the aspects of confidentiality,
and maintain or enhance the performance of this position, the QA/RC department, and the
company; performing special assignments such as auditing, data analysis, and documentation.

Your Background
Bachelor's Degree from college or university preferred. Experience and professional certifications may also partially substitute for degree.
Knowledge of manufacturing environments; computer; photocopier; phone; general office
supplies and equipment.
